Visit information

Skuleskogen national park is situated in the world heritage site of the High Coast on the east coast of Sweden, approximately 500 km north of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. The closest larger cities are Härnösand, 70 km south of the park, and Örnsköldsvik, 40 km north of the park. Communications:

By car:
Drive along the highway E4, which stretches between Malmö in the south and Haparanda in the north. Between Härnösand and Örnsköldsvik you will find the village of Docksta. To get to the southern, main entrance, turn to the east 1 km north of Docksta and follow the signs saying "nationalpark". The parking is located approximately 10 km east of the highway.

By bus:
Regional busses: 100 or 10 from Sundsvall/Härnösand or Örnsköldsvik/Umeå: www.dintur.seexternal link, opens in new window stops in Docksta or at Skuleberget.
Greyhound: Long distance busses, Ybuss from Stockholm (Härnösand/Sundsvall) or Haparanda (Umeå/Örnsköldsvik) stops in Docksta: www.ybuss.seexternal link, opens in new window
From Skuleberget there is a 9 km walk to the southern entrance of the park.

By train:
The train from Stockholm will take you as fas as Sundsvall, then you have to change to bus.

By flight:
Midlanda airport is situated north of Sundsvall. From there you need to take the bus or rent a car to get to the park.
